![]() When you think of Trump, beauty probably isn’t the first thing that comes to mind. However, Trump does provide us with a better understanding of the A.I. world. An article by The New York Times explains how Trump signed an executive order for the regulation of artificial intelligence to change the world in terms of consumer products, healthcare and warfare. (So maybe beauty did cross his mind).. Trump’s idea of regulating artificial intelligence development was to educate his workers in other fields of technology production. This might be the one thing we can agree on with Trump! Artificial Intelligence is almost a grey area (in my opinion) that younger experimentalists and developers or designers are only starting to come into contact with - in comparison to those over 50 (sorry!) This might be why the world has not had the breakthrough of robots literally taking over the world - hence the photo below. (www.nytimes.com) Since the US is in a constant trade war with China, Trump obviously wants to stay on top and keep his power. His steps to regulating artificial intelligence means that they can develop better technologies powering surveillance systems, autonomous weapons and even self driving cars. (www.nytimes.com) So how does this tie in with beauty? Well, technically it doesn’t, but Trump’s attitude to implementing better educational systems around A.I. means that we will further develop the world in every aspect, not just warfare. Beauty and technology don’t sound like they go hand-in-hand, but when you think of other amalgamations of technology with literally anything, we can see where the future is planning on going: always forward! Trump’s initiative to take over the world with the development of artificial intelligence opens up so many doors for young people to delve into the world of formulating new ways of doing anything and everything - even makeup! Who would have thought? Since you (hopefully) understand artificial intelligence a bit more now, you should enjoy our future posts on how the beauty industry is rapidly changing into a faster, more technologic and futuristic environment! ![]() (Donald Trump, 2020) Bibliography
